AN ACT AMENDING A PRIOR CONVEYANCE OF STATE LAND TO
THE TOWN OF SOUTHBURY TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 5 of special act 13-23, as amended by section 2 of public 1
act 16-1 of the May special session, be amended to remove the current 2
restriction providing that the property may only be leased or subleased 3
for senior housing, and to allow the town of Southbury to sell, lease, 4
sublease or transfer the property to a third party for housing purposes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To enable the town of Southbury to sell, lease, sublease or transfer the
previously conveyed parcel to a third party for housing purposes.
