1919 AN ACT EXPANDING TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR CAREERS IN
2020 HEALTH CARE.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That (1) the general statutes be amended to require the Office of 1
2525 Workforce Strategy to establish a Career ConneCT program to provide 2
2626 funding for training programs for certified nursing assistants and other 3
2727 health care occupations provided by organizations that hire directly into 4
2828 the health care systems of such organizations, and (2) the sum of five 5
2929 million dollars be appropriated to the Office of Workforce Strategy, 6
3030 from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, for such 7
3131 health care training Career ConneCT program. 8
3232 Statement of Purpose:
3333 To establish a Career ConneCT program to fund training for certified
3434 nursing assistants and other health care occupations by organizations
3535 that hire directly into such organization's health care system and to
3636 appropriate not less than five million dollars for such program.
