AN ACT CONCERNING STATE -FUNDED RESPITE CARE FOR 
PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to provide state-funded respite 1 
care for parents of children with autism spectrum disorder similar to 2 
state-funded respite care provided to children with an intellectual 3 
disability administered by the Department of Developmental Services. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide state-funded support to parents of children with autism 
spectrum disorder similar to such support offered to parents of children 
with an intellectual disability.
