AN ACT CONCERNING HUSKY HEALTH PROGRAM COVERAGE FOR
CHILDREN WITH LONG COVID-19 OR POST-COVID-19 EXPENSES
NOT COVERED BY PRIVATE INSURANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Social Services to provide HUSKY Health program 2
coverage to children with long COVID-19 or post-COVID-19 expenses 3
not covered by private insurance. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To fill a gap in medical care for children with long COVID-19 or post-
COVID-19 medical care needs not covered by private insurance.
