3636 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

3939 That the general statutes be amended to (1) require the Commissioner 1
4040 of Social Services to seek a federal Medicaid waiver under Section 1115 2
4141 of the Social Security Act to provide Medicaid coverage for produce 3
4242 prescriptions for Medicaid beneficiaries with nutrition-related chronic 4
4343 diseases, and (2) address barriers to participation in the Connecticut 5
4444 Farmers' Market/Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program 6
