AN ACT CONCERNING AN INDEPENDENT BUREAU OF SERVICES
FOR PERSONS WHO ARE DEAF, DEAFBLIND OR HARD OF
HEARING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17a-835a of the general statutes be amended to establish 1
the Bureau of Services for Persons Who are Deaf, Deafblind or Hard of 2
Hearing as an independent office within the Department of Aging and 3
Disability Services. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To confer independent status on the Bureau of Services for Persons Who
are Deaf, Deafblind or Hard of Hearing.
