AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PROGRAM OFFERING LOW -INTEREST
LOANS TO HOMEOWNERS TO REPLACE SEPTIC SYSTEMS AND
INSTALL FLOOD MITIGATION SYSTEMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to establish a program, 1
administered by the Department of Housing, to offer low-interest loans 2
to homeowners for the purpose of (1) replacing existing septic systems, 3
and (2) installing drainage or other mitigation systems to prevent 4
flooding of residential property. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a program to offer low-interest loans to homeowners for the
purpose of replacing existing septic systems and installing flood
mitigation systems.
