AN ACT ESTABLISHING A GRANT PROGRAM TO CREATE
AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS WITH CERTAIN DEED
RESTRICTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to establish a grant 1
program, administered by the Department of Housing, for the creation 2
of affordable housing developments in which sixty per cent of dwelling 3
units would be deed restricted to individuals or families with a 4
maximum income of thirty-five thousand dollars. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a grant program to create affordable housing developments
in which sixty per cent of dwelling units are deed restricted to
individuals or families with a maximum income of thirty-five thousand
dollars.
