1818 AN ACT INCLUDING PROPERTIES THAT ARE ABLE TO BE

2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That subsection (k) of section 8-30g of the general statutes be 1
2626 amended to include in the calculation of the ten-per-cent threshold for 2
2727 the affordable housing appeals procedure exemption any property that 3
2828 is not deed restricted but is able to be purchased by individuals or 4
2929 families whose income is less than or equal to eighty per cent of the 5
3030 median income based on the prevailing interest rate and appraised 6
3131 values of properties in effect as of the prior grand list year. 7
3232 Statement of Purpose:
3333 To include properties that are not deed restricted but able to be
3434 purchased by persons meeting certain income requirements in the
3535 calculation of the threshold for the affordable housing appeals
3636 procedure exemption.
