AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF "PARENTING TIME" IN THE
GENERAL STATUTES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to replace all references to 1
"visitation" or "custody" with "parenting time" when referring to time 2
spent with a child's parents. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the general statutes to utilize "parenting time" instead of
"custody" or "visitation" when describing time spent between a child
and parent.
