AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CAUSE OF ACTION AGAINST A PERSON
FOR CREATING A NUISANCE DUE TO THE SMOKE FROM OR ODOR
OF CANNABIS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 368m of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
cause of action against a person for a nuisance caused by the smoke from 2
or odor of cannabis that results in interference with the use of one's 3
property. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a cause of action against a person for a nuisance caused by
the smoke from or odor of cannabis that results in interference with the
use of one's property.
