AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF SUPPORTED DECISION -
MAKING AGREEMENTS IN LIEU OF CONSERVATORSHIPS OR
GUARDIANSHIPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 802h of the general statutes be amended to implement 1
the use of supported decision-making agreements as a less restrictive 2
alternative to the use of conservatorships or guardianships for adults 3
with disabilities. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To implement the use of supported decision-making agreements as a
less restrictive alternative to the use of conservatorships or
guardianships for adults with disabilities.
