AN ACT CONCERNING THE COURT AWARD OF ATTORNEY'S FEES
IN BAD FAITH AFFORDABLE HOUSING APPEALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1
a court may assess attorney's fees against a losing party in an action 2
brought under said section if the court determines that the action was 3
brought in bad faith. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize a court to assess attorney's fees against a losing party in an
action brought under section 8-30g of the general statutes if the court
determines that the action was brought in bad faith.
