AN ACT PROHIBITING STATE AGENCIES FROM TAKING CERTAIN ACTIONS AGAINST PARENTS AND GUARDIANS WHO CHOOSE TO RAISE CHILDREN CONSISTENT WITH THEIR BIOLOGICAL SEX. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any state agency, 1 including, but not limited to, the Department of Children and Families, 2 from investigating a claim of child abuse or neglect, removing a child 3 from such child's home or denying or revoking a child's foster or 4 adoptive placement if the basis for such investigation, removal, denial 5 or revocation is solely related to the decision of such child's parent, 6 guardian or prospective guardian to raise such child in a manner 7 consistent with such child's biological sex. 8 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit state agencies from taking certain action against a parent or guardian if the basis for such action relates solely to such parent's or guardian's decision to raise a child consistent with such child's biological sex.
