AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING TO COMPENSATE
MUNICIPALITIES FOR COSTS INCURRED BECAUSE OF EARLY
VOTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Office of Policy 1
and Management, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 2
30, 2026, for reimbursement to each municipality for any increase in 3
election administration costs because of early voting. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To help our towns cover the costs of early voting.
