AN ACT PROHIBITING THE PROMOTION OF RACIAL AND SEXUAL
SUPREMACY IN SCHOOLS IN CONNECTICUT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) prohibit the State Board 1
of Education or any local or regional board of education from 2
promulgating, authorizing, requiring or including in any course or 3
portion of a curriculum the following concepts: (A) That any race or sex 4
is inherently superior or inferior to any other race or sex, (B) that any 5
individual, by virtue of such individual's race or sex is inherently racist, 6
sexist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously, (C) that an 7
individual's character is necessarily determined by such individual's 8
race or sex, or (D) that an individual or group, by virtue of the 9
individual's or group's race or sex, bears any responsibility for actions 10
committed in the past by other members of the same race or sex; and (2) 11
require the State Board of Education to develop regulations to 12

To ensure that all students are treated fairly and equally in Connecticut's
schools.
