AN ACT CONCERNING THE FULL FUNDING OF THE SPECIAL
EDUCATION EXCESS COST GRANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-76g of the general statutes be amended to require that 1
a local or regional board of education be reimbursed in an amount equal 2
to the total excess cost for special education and to remove the cap so 3
the grant will be fully funded. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To fully fund the special education excess cost grant.
