AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPALITIES TO REGULATE TREE
CUTTING ON ALL PROPERTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to 1
regulate tree cutting on all properties in such municipality in order to 2
provide for oversight and the restoration of the tree canopy. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities to regulate all tree cutting in the municipality
for oversight and restoration of the tree canopy.
