AN ACT PROVIDING INCENTIVES FOR COMMUNITY SOLAR USAGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase the production and 1
usage of community solar in the state by providing mechanisms for 2
solar developers to work with municipalities to site solar farms up to 3
one hundred megawatts that would be usable by local businesses and 4
residents through simple subscription procedures and to provide 5
discounts to those subscribers that have solar panels. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide incentives for the development and use of community solar
in the state.
