AN ACT PROHIBITING WATERFOWL AND BIRD HUNTING IN
SECTIONS OF THE MORRIS COVE AREA OF NEW HAVEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any 1
provision of title 26 of the general statutes, the Department of Energy 2
and Environmental Protection shall prohibit waterfowl and bird 3
hunting in the Morris Cove area of New Haven. 4
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To provide increased safety and quality of life to residents of the Morris
Cove area of New Haven.
