| 21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

| 23 | 23 | That the general statutes be amended to provide the following 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | requirements in deer and turkey management zones: (1) Require 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | property owners to notify neighbors, neighborhood associations and 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | local police of the presence of authorized bow hunters on such property; 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | (2) require bow hunters to stay forty yards from blazed hiking trails, 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | roads, sidewalks and property lines; (3) require property owners to 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | obtain permission from all tenants to allow bow hunting on such 7 | |
| 30 | 30 | property; (4) prohibit baiting on private land; and (5) establish a 8 | |
| 31 | 31 | taskforce to study how to provide for deer population control. 9 | |
