AN ACT REQUIRING PET STORES, SHELTERS AND ANIMAL
BREEDERS TO PERFORM MANDATORY VACCINATIONS FOR CATS
AND DOGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that pet stores, 1
animal shelters and animal breeders perform the mandatory 2
vaccinations required for dogs and cats that such businesses and entities 3
sell or offer for adoption. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for the required vaccinations of dogs and cats by pet stores,
shelters and animal breeders.
