AN ACT CONCERNING THE INTENTIONAL FEEDING OF
DANGEROUS WILDLIFE, LIMITING THE USE OF BIRD FEEDERS AND
PROHIBITING THE IMPROPER STORAGE OF FOOD, GARBAGE AND
WILDLIFE ATTRACTANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the intentional 1
feeding of potentially dangerous wildlife, restrict the use of known bear 2
attractants in bird feeders and disallow the improper storage of food, 3
garbage and wildlife attractants. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce wildlife to human habituation and the frequency and
likelihood of negative human interactions with wildlife.
