AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF CERTAIN WORDS AND
ABBREVIATIONS ON BOTTLE CONTAINERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of "CTRV" 1
or "Redemption Value" on beverage containers sold or distributed in the 2
state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify the redemption value of beverage containers for consumers
and to increase the redemption rate of beverage containers.
