AN ACT PROHIBITING THE DECLAWING OF CATS EXCEPT WHEN
MEDICALLY NECESSARY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the declawing of 1
cats except when deemed medically necessary. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the inhumane practice of declawing cats except when
medically necessary.
