2121 AN ACT CONCERNING TESTIMONY SUBMITTED TO THE
2222 CONNECTICUT SITING COUNCIL AND DECISIONS OF MUNICIPAL
2323 CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS CONCERNING CERTAIN SOLAR
2424 PROJECTS.
2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2626 Assembly convened:

2828 That section 16-50p of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
2929 Connecticut Siting Council to (1) consider the testimony of any witness 2
3030 and of the chief executive officer of the municipality in which a 3
3131 proposed facility is to be developed, (2) be bound by the approval, 4
3232 disapproval or imposition of conditions by the chief executive officer of 5
3333 the municipality in which a solar photovoltaic system with a generating 6
3434 capacity greater than one megawatt is proposed if such proposed 7
3535 system is located within a five-mile radius of any solar photovoltaic 8
3636 system with a generating capacity greater than one hundred megawatts, 9
3737 and (3) maintain distribution capacity for local projects that benefit 10

4343 Statement of Purpose:
4444 To require the Connecticut Siting Council to (1) consider the testimony
