AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
fifty million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Housing for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to 5
nonprofit organizations and municipal housing authorities to develop 6
affordable housing developments. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funds for the development of affordable housing
developments.
