1818 AN ACT CONCERNING SUMMARY PROCESS EVICTIONS OF
1919 PROTECTED TENANTS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require that, prior to 1
2424 initiating a summary process eviction of a protected tenant pursuant to 2
2525 section 47a-23c of the general statutes, a landlord seek approval from a 3
2626 fair rent commission or the Superior Court by filing a complaint alleging 4
2727 the reason for the eviction. 5
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To require a landlord to seek approval from a fair rent commission or
3030 the Superior Court prior to initiating a summary process eviction of a
3131 protected tenant.
