AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SUCH PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That (1) the general statutes be amended to establish a down payment 1
assistance program to assist low and moderate income individuals and 2
families purchase homes through the Southeastern Connecticut 3
Community Land Trust, and (2) the sum of three hundred thousand 4
dollars be appropriated to the Department of Housing, from the General 5
Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, to provide funds for such 6
program. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a down payment assistance program and provide funds for
such program.
