AN ACT CONCERNING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN LAW
ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS AND FEDERAL IMMIGRATION
AUTHORITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That public acts 19-20 and 19-23 be repealed. 1
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance public safety and security and foster greater communication
between law enforcement officers and federal immigration authorities
regarding undocumented immigrants convicted of felonies and violent
crimes.
