AN ACT CONCERNING SQUATTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 53a of the general statutes be amended to establish a new 1
crime of illegal squatting that shall be punishable as class A 2
misdemeanor. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To criminalize illegal squatting on private property.
