AN ACT CONCERNING PROBABLE CAUSE FOR DRIVING UNDER
THE INFLUENCE IF A PASSENGER IS OBSERVED USING
CANNABIS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow police to establish 1
probable cause for driving under the influence if a passenger of a motor 2
vehicle is observed using cannabis. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow police to establish probable cause for driving under the
influence if a passenger of a motor vehicle is observed using cannabis.
