AN ACT CONCERNING EARNED RISK REDUCTION CREDITS IN THE
CASE OF SERIOUS VIOLENT OFFENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 18-98e of the general statutes be amended to prohibit 1
persons convicted of murder, persistent dangerous felonies, serious 2
sexual offenses and family violence crimes from earning risk reduction 3
credits. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To preclude the most serious offenders from earning risk reduction
credits.
