AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF PAID SICK LEAVE BY
CLASSROOM EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 31-57r to 31-57x, inclusive, of the general statutes be 1
amended to allow a local or regional board of education to require such 2
board's classroom employees to use such employees' paid sick leave in 3
four-hour increments. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To accommodate local or regional boards of education by allowing them
to require their classroom employees to use their paid sick leave in four-
hour increments in order to account for the practice that substitutes are
hired for four-hour increments.
