AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
SYSTEMS DATA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) facilitate collaboration 1
with universities to utilize geographic information systems in 2
identifying patterns within socioeconomic, infrastructure and 3
environmental data, and (2) provide funding to organizations that use 4
geographic information systems to address community needs. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To (1) utilize geographic information systems in identifying patterns
within certain data, and (2) fund organizations that use geographic
information systems to address community needs.
