AN ACT CONCERNING AN INCREASE IN THE THRESHOLD FOR
SEALED BIDDING ON CERTAIN MUNICIPAL CONTRACTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 7-148v of the general statutes be amended to increase the 1
threshold for which sealed bidding shall not be required for municipal 2
contracts or purchases from twenty-five thousand dollars to fifty 3
thousand dollars. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the threshold for which sealed bidding shall not be required
for municipal contracts or purchases from twenty-five thousand dollars
to fifty thousand dollars.
