1920 AN ACT CONCERNING MILITARY AFFAIRS IN CONNECTICUT.
2021 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2324 Section 1. Section 27-78 of the general statutes is repealed and the 1
2425 following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2025): 2
2526 [Within] Not later than six months after the mustering out of any 3
2627 regiment of the State Guard, the surviving late senior officer of such 4
2728 regiment shall cause the regimental standards, both national and state, 5
2829 [which] that belonged to such regiment to be deposited in the former 6
2930 headquarters' armory of such regiment. When such deposit is made, the 7
3031 officer in charge of such armory shall give his receipt for such standards, 8
3132 and thereafter he and his successors shall be the custodians of such 9
3233 standards and shall carefully keep and conspicuously display them in 10
3334 such armory in recognition of the patriotic service of such regiment of 11
3435 the State Guard. Immediately upon receipt of such regimental 12
3536 standards, the officer who has assumed the custody of them shall apply 13
3637 to the Adjutant General for a repository for such standards, and the 14

4346 to his successor, a glass-front, dust-proof repository, so designed, 17
4447 constructed and inscribed as suitably to fulfill the purpose [herein] set 18
