AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR HELICOPTER SEARCH AND
RESCUE OPERATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of three hundred thousand dollars be appropriated to 1
the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, from the 2
General Fund, for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, June 30, 2027, 3
and each fiscal year thereafter, for the New Milford Police Department 4
to maintain helicopters used for search and rescue operations 5
throughout the state. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide critical funding for helicopter search and rescue.
