AN ACT ALLOWING RANKED -CHOICE VOTING FOR MUNICIPAL
ELECTIONS AND FEDERAL PRIMARIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to allow any election 1
for municipal office and any primary for federal office to be conducted 2
under a ranked-choice system of voting. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow ranked-choice voting for municipal elections and federal
primaries.
