AN ACT CONCERNING UNLAWFUL REMOTE TRACKING. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of electronic 1 
tracking devices to track another person without such person's 2 
permission and to create lawful exceptions for the use of such devices, 3 
including, but not limited to, by a parent of a minor child, for certain 4 
commercial uses and for certain uses of an employer of an employee. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To prohibit the use of electronic tracking devices to track another person 
without such person's permission and to create lawful exceptions to 
such prohibition.
