AN ACT REDUCING THE EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION FOR THE PAID FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE INSURANCE PROGRAM. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 31-49g of the general statutes be amended to reduce the 1 cap on the percentage of an employee's subject earnings an employee 2 must contribute to the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Trust 3 Fund from one-half of one per cent to four-tenths of one per cent. 4 Statement of Purpose: To reduce the percentage of an employee's subject earnings an employee must contribute to the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Trust Fund.
