AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL FIRE DISTRICTS AND
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit any political 1
subdivision, including a fire district, to, by vote of ratepayers in such 2
district, join or establish a municipal electric utility. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To permit political subdivisions, including fire districts, to join or
establish a municipal electric utility.
