3535 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
3636 Assembly convened:

3838 That the general statutes be amended to authorize (1) the Attorney 1
3939 General to petition the Superior Court for the appointment of a receiver 2
4040 to manage hospitals in financial distress or operational crisis, and (2) the 3
4141 state to exercise eminent domain to assume control of hospital facilities 4
4242 at risk of closure due to financial instability. 5
