AN ACT CONCERNING THE EFFECTIVE AND SAFE USE OF PATIENT
LIFTS FOR PATIENTS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to provide for 1
the effective and safe use of patient lifts for patients with physical 2
disabilities. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the availability, safety and efficacy of patient lifts in health
care institutions.
