4141 AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVENTION OF FEMALE GENITAL

4343 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

4646 That the general statutes be amended to (1) require the Department 1
4747 of Public Health to develop an education program concerning the 2
4848 prevention of female genital mutilation, (2) allow for a civil action for 3
4949 female genital mutilation, and (3) prohibit female genital mutilation in 4
