AN ACT PROHIBITING STATE LAW ENFORCEMENT UNITS FROM ACCEPTING FEDERAL FUNDS TO CONDUCT CERTAIN PROGRAMS RELATED TO MARIJUANA GROWN ON PRIVATE LAND. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 29 and chapter 104 the general statutes be amended to 1 prohibit the Division of State Police within the Department of 2 Emergency Services and Public Protection, or any other law 3 enforcement unit in the state, from accepting federal grant funds to 4 conduct any program related to the surveillance of, search for, or 5 destruction of marijuana grown on private land. 6 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit law enforcement agencies from engaging in federally funded programs related to the surveillance of, search for, or destruction of marijuana grown on private land.
