AN ACT ALLOWING OFF -DUTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO
CONCEAL AND CARRY FIREARMS ON SCHOOL GROUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 53a-217b of the general statutes be amended to allow a 1
law enforcement officer to conceal and carry a firearm on school 2
grounds while not engaged in the performance of official duties. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an off-duty law enforcement officer to conceal and carry a
firearm on school grounds.
