1818 AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES
1919 AND PUBLIC PROTECTION TO IMPLEMENT AND CREATE A
2020 MARKETING CAMPAIGN FOR THE PURPLE ALERT SYSTEM.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That section 29-1f of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
2525 Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to implement 2
2626 and create a marketing campaign for the system of disseminating 3
2727 information to assist in the location of a missing person who is eighteen 4
2828 years of age or older and has a mental impairment, an intellectual 5
2929 disability or other developmental disabilities, which is described in 6
3030 subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of said section and known as the 7
3131 "Purple Alert" system. 8
3232 Statement of Purpose:
3333 To ensure that the Department of Emergency Services and Public
3434 Protection implements and creates a marketing campaign for the
3535 "Purple Alert" system.
