1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A FIRE AND CATASTROPHIC
1919 RESTORATION BUSINESS LICENSE.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That title 29 of the general statutes be amended to (1) provide for the 1
2424 Office of the State Fire Marshall to license fire and catastrophic 2
2525 restoration businesses, and (2) establish and maintain a registry of 3
2626 licensed fire and catastrophic restoration businesses, which registry 4
2727 shall, at a minimum, disclose whether (A) a licensee is in good standing 5
2828 or has violated any provision of applicable law, and (B) any complaint 6
2929 has been filed against a licensee. 7
3030 Statement of Purpose:
3131 To (1) provide for the Office of the State Fire Marshall to license fire and
3232 catastrophic restoration businesses, and (2) establish and maintain a
3333 registry of licensed fire and catastrophic restoration businesses.
