AN ACT EXEMPTING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE
TRANSPORTATION FROM CERTAIN MINIMUM INSURANCE OR
BOND REQUIREMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 14-29 of the general statutes be 1
amended to exempt nonprofit organizations that operate motor vehicles 2
in livery service that are designed or used to transport fifteen passengers 3
or more from the five-million-dollar minimum insurance or bond 4
requirement. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide relief to nonprofit organizations that provide transportation.
